American football cornerback who plays for the Virginia Tech Hokies. Harris starts as the teams number one cornerback, playing the boundary position. He previously had announced his intentions to leave early and enter the2008 NFL Draft , but subsequently reversed himself. His senior year of high school, Harris's recruitment took a twist when a grease fire broke out in his home the night that
Frank Beamer was scheduled to visit. Harris was scarred putting out the fire.
