Goumero (Greek, Modern: Γούμερο, Katharevoussa: - "-n"-) is a village in
Greece in the municipality ofOleni . Its 2001 population was 1,056 for the village which making it the most populated place and municipal district in the municipality after its seatKaratoula . Goumero is located on a mountain range that extends from

History
Goumero is built in an area in which in the Ancient times with
Strabo was by Alesyo (Αλήσυον) or Alesaio or Aleseo (Αλησαίον), its modern form are Alesyon or Alissaio, they were one of the eight important cities in Pisatis. In the choreographic signs of the casle ofMorea of Hopf in 1360 brought the name Vumero and was founded by the property ofRobert of Taranto . In 1436, the base of the same source was named Vumeri. it was later renamed to Vumero. The largeness which brought which had from much earlier. The concrete ot the sharing ofNicobias dates back to 1300.George Sphrantzes knew which had the area as a village with the name Vroumero and the professor Iliopoulos complemented as the area from dirt. In 1829, it became a part of the municipality of Goumeria with its seat in Goumero. The historian Georigos Papandreou that the first inhabitants were the Zipitaians (Ζιπιταίοι), after the destruction of the castle, its rubble still exist in the homonymous area of the village. The castle was built during the Medieval period.After
