Khurshid Qureshi

Dr. Khurshid Qureshi is currently the president of the "Association of Muslim Scientists and Engineers" (AMSE). In addition, he is on the board of directors of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and is the chairman of Society of Automotive Engineers Rocky Mountain Area, and the president of Colorado Engineering Society.

In the early days of the AMSA, he helped to establish chapters in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Kansas and Arkansas. He also founded the first regularly scheduled Islamic youth camp in the USA, Al Hilal Youth Camp, which recently observed its 27th anniversary. He served as a member of board of Directors of Islamic Association of Greater Detroit. In the 1980s he advised the Government of Pakistan regarding improvment of Science & Technology education and develop a strong industrial base in the country.

In addition, Dr. Qureshi has worked for with multinational corporations such as General Motors, Ingersoll Rand and Hughes Corporation. Currently he is the president and CEO of zeeWAVES Corporation.
