Inam-ul-Haq is a
Pakistan i career diplomat who served as theForeign Minister of Pakistan in the caretaker government ofMuhammad Mian Soomro for four months in the winter of 2007-2008. He also remained State Minister for Foreign Affairs from June 2002 till the appointment ofKhurshid Mahmud Kasuri as Foreign Minister in November 2002, and Foreign Secretary, the highest post of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after he replaced Shamshad Ahmad Khan in February 2000.Haq served as Pakistan Ambassador to
Turkey ,China (1997-1999) and Permanent Representative to theUnited Nations before being appointed as Foreign Secretary.External links
