History
After leaving Death Row Records, E.D.I., Kastro, Napoleon and Young Noble along with Gary "Big G" Tyler founded Outlaw Recordz. In late 1995 after 2pac was released from prison, 2pac featured his new found group on his album All Eyez On Me, as well as on his most song Hit 'em Up, which was a direct battle record against Biggie, Bady Boyz Record Label and other Eastcoast rappers. Through Spice 1 they got in contact with Bayside Entertainment Distribution who they signed a distribution deal with. On November 7, 2000, election day, Outlaw Recordz's debut and the Outlawz's second LP, Ride Wit Us or Collide Wit Us, was released, it debuted at the 95th position on the Billboard 200, the 16th on the R&B/hip-hop albums and the 7th on the top independent albums charts, the first and second single and video were "Black Rain" and "Thug With Me." The LP became best selling independent rap album of 2000.[2]
