Vereshchagino ( _ru. Вереща́гино) is a town and the administrative center of Vereshchaginsky District, Perm Krai, Russia, located km to mi|124 west of Perm. Population: 22,800 (2005 est.);fact|date=March 2008 ru-census|p02=22832|p89=24129

It was founded in 1898 as a settlement serving the construction of Ochyorskaya ( _ru. Очёрская) railway station of the Perm–Vyatka railroad. In 1904, the station was renamed Voznesenskaya ( _ru. Вознесенская), and in 1916—Vereshchagino (after the painter Vasily Vereshchagin who stopped here in 1904). It was granted town status in 1942.

Today the town is a large railway traffic center.
