Llanwrda

Llanwrda is a parish and a village in the county of Carmarthenshire, west Wales, 3½ miles from the River Towy, (W. by S.) from Llandovery.

The village is served by Llanwrda railway station.

The A40

This parish is intersected by the A40 road between Llandeilo and Llandovery and stands at the junction of the A482 road to Lampeter and Aberaeron. Nearby are the Dolaucothi Gold Mines.

Rebels Resting Place

It has been rumored that the church is the last restting place for Owain Glyndŵr, the last native Welshman to hold the title Prince of Wales
