"Band of Bloggers: War through a Soldier's Eyes" is a American television program and website from The History Channel. An emergent band of military bloggers use the internet, DV (Digital Video) cameras, and cell phones to post their stories of the battlefield and miscellaneous days or events that they want to share. The website contains this soldier spawned content.

Videos filmed from DV cameras are on the website including combat videos, soldier to soldier videos, military footage, music videos, and blogger videos:
*Combat videos show footage of uncensored firefights containing skirmishes.
*Soldier to soldier videos are short interviews with military personal such as sergeants. They explain general things involving what the soldiers are patrolling and guarding at the moment, methods of extracting information from the Iraqis, and also their experiences in Iraq.
*Music Videos play music while it displays a slide show of photos taken of soldiers in Iraq.
*Blogger videos are about soldiers filming different things like following patrols or what the soldiers do for fun.

Other content

Text blogs are articles written by a soldier. They include the experiences and thoughts of the soldier, very similar to a diary. You are allowed to look through and read everything but you must create an account with a username and password (it is all free) enabling you to become a member to participate in these discussions. They are community internet forums with topics a person posts and shares about war and combat related matter.
