"The Only Reason" is a reggae-influenced song by Lil Wayne featuring Sizzla and Young Money artist T-Streets.

Several Lil Wayne mixtapes include the song, most notably the mixtape "The Drought Is Over Part 5" and on the Enhanced CD of Cash Money Records' compilation "10 Years of Bling, Volume 1".

It was originally supposed to be on Lil Wayne's "The Carter III" and to be released as the first single from the album. However, it was pulled off the album's final track listing and was given a non-album download single release.
