James Woods Gyle (died 1935) was a Independent Unionist
politician inNorthern Ireland , member of theNorthern Ireland Parliament . He was suspended from theOrange Order in 1934 for seven years, because he visitedJoseph Devlin MP for Belfast Central on his deathbed.He was elected in the
Northern Ireland general election, 1925 for Belfast East until 1929. He unsuccessfully contested theNorthern Ireland general election, 1929 for Belfast Dock.He was a member of the
Senate of Northern Ireland from 1933 until his death in 1935.References
