Legislative council website, Wong is listed to have amaster's degree inengineering from theUniversity of California ,Juris Doctor fromSouthland University and Ph.D from theCalifornia Coast University . California Coast University bulletin claimed that it "does not require formal, on-campus residence or classroom attendance". Wong did receive the engineering degree on August 27, 1984. Southland University however is now defunct, and is a typicaldiploma mill offering degrees with substandard or no academic studies.Middle finger incident
