North Haven/Hamden Station is a proposed station in North Haven, Connecticut (and about a mile east of the Hamden town line) on the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield Commuter Rail Line. It was listed by the Connecticut Department of Transportation as one of three new stations that would be built for the line, the others being Enfield and Newington. The station would be located on State Street (US 5) near the CT-40 overpass at the current park-and-ride lot. The 96 spaces in the current lot and 109 new spaces built across the street[which?] would provide parking for the station, for a total of 205 parking spaces. In addition, 96 spaces would be allocated for park-and-ride commuters in the new lot, making a total of 301 spaces in the whole complex.
