Robert Turner (Middlesex cricketer)
- Robert Turner (Middlesex cricketer)
Robert Turner (details of birth and death unknown) was a noted professional cricketer in the late 18th century. His career spanned the 1789 to 1799 seasons and he played mainly for Middlesex and various representative sides, including MCC.
Turner was primarily a bowler (style unknown) who made 34 known appearances in major cricket matches and took a known 50 wickets (i.e., "bowled" victims only). As a batsman he played 64 innings and scored a total of 318 runs with a highest score of 28. He made only 12 catches, which suggests he was an outfielder.
