Minami-Kesennuma Station (南気仙沼駅) is located on the JR Kesennuma Line in Kesennuma, Miyagi, Japan.
It is the rapid express "Minami-Sanriku" stop station for Sendai.
Minami-Kesennuma Station was almost completely destroyed in the 2011 Japanese tsunami.

History
- February 11, 1957: Station begins operation.
- March 11, 2011: The station was "swept away" save for its platform by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami[1]; anecdotal evidence suggests severe damage to the line as well as other coastal lines (including the Ishinomaki Line and Senseki Line).
