Anchors

KD Country features a mix of national and local anchors. As an affiliate of DialGlobal/Jones Radio Networks' True Country brand, the station is headlined by national anchors Hal Moore, Shannon Stone, Craig "Catfish" Hunter, Joyce Jefferson and Delta Dawn. Supplementary local programming is provided by anchors Lee Cameron and Joseph Aland.

WKDE-FM is the flagship station of the Lynchburg Hillcats, a Class High-A minor league baseball team and an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The team is located in Lynchburg.

WKDE-FM is also the flagship station of the Altavista Colonels high school football and basketball teams. Virginia Association of Broadcasters award-winning sportscaster Bob Alvis calls the play-by-play for most of the high school games, assisted often by co-host Kyle Hoehne. The VAB Award-Winning team of Dave Hoehne and Mark Slusher also call games.

Bluegrass

WKDE-FM broadcasts two nationally syndicated bluegrass programs on Sunday evenings from 7 to 9 PM.: "This is Bluegrass" with Tom Henderson and "Into the Blue" with Terry Herd. On Mondays through Thursdays, "The Bluegrass Ramble" is locally produced and hosted by Judy Kaye Shelton.

On Sunday mornings, Lee Cameron anchors a slate of religious programming that includes Gospel music, preaching, and local church services.
