Buketa ( _th. บูเก๊ะตา) is a subdistrict municipality ("thesaban tambon") in Waeng district, Narathiwat Province, Thailand. It covers an area of 7.04 km² of the subdistrict Lochut, and as of 2007 has a population of 4,079. [cite web|url=http://www.dopa.go.th/xstat/p5096_04.html|publisher=Department of Provincial Administration|title=Population statistics, 2007] The municipality lies west of the Kolok River.

History

The municipality was created as a sanitary district ("sukhaphiban") in 1993. Traffic
