Next album ="Here Come the Tears" is the debut album by
The Tears , released onJune 6 ,2005 onIndependiente Records . The album received praise prior to its release from the "NME " who called it, "The best album you'll hear this year, by a mile". The album proved a comeback forBernard Butler andBrett Anderson as the album was praised by critics and fans alike. Though due to a flood of albums, including those byThe White Stripes andColdplay , the album charted at a relatively weak #15. As a strange sidenote, formerBritpop starsDamon Albarn (of Blur &Gorillaz ) and Oasis released albums only weeks apart from the ex-Suede duo.The album sees a much more mature contribution by Anderson on the lyrical side, as he strayed away from his often attacked use of redundant vocabulary. Bernard Butler's production is notable for its use of the "
wall of sound ", thus creating a lush backdrop for Anderson's vocals.Track listing
