James Nicholson (Canadian politician)

James Nicholson (October 16 1827 – ) was a political figure in Prince Edward Island. He represented 4th Queens in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 1879 to 1882 as a Conservative member.

He was born in Belfast, Prince Edward Island, the son of Samuel Nicholson, who came to the island from the Isle of Skye, Scotland. In 1855, he married Mary Jane Monroe.
