Southwest Trafficway

Southwest Trafficway is a principal arterial road in Kansas City, Missouri. Southwest Trafficway mostly serves as an at grade express route linking Downtown Kansas City, MO with the Country Club Plaza area. Traffic is expedited primarily due to the fact that left turns are prohibited at nearly every intersection, discouraging local traffic and reducing delays due to vehicles waiting to turn left. Southwest Trafficway terminates on the north at Interstate 35, exit 1A in Missouri, and on the south end, northbound and southbound lanes terminate at Madison Ave. and Belleview Ave. in Kansas City, MO respectively.
