His favoured position is attacking fullback but due to his height he can also play as a central defender to good effect.[1]
He has previously played for Umeå and GIF Sundsvall.
He has been capped for the Swedish senior team 21 times.
Since breaking into the first team at Rosenborg Lustig has attracted a lot of interest from other European clubs, such as SPL side Celtic, English Premier League club Fulham and La Liga side Espanyol. [2]
