Biography
Dean Fujioka was born in Fukushima, Japan and finished college at Seattle University, Seattle, Washington. After his graduation, he decided to explore by traveling and taking a photographic journey across Asia. It sharpened his senses of culture, music, poetry, design and art (in many forms). He started his career as a model in Hong Kong's fashion scene in 2004 for both local and international designer brands. He continues to appear in Hong Kong's leading fashion and lifestyle magazines. Simultaneous with his career in fashion, Fujioka also embarked on various advertising campaigns, appearing in TV and print commercials for both local and multinational clients in the Asia pacific region. In 2005, he decided to pursue a career in acting. He got a role in a movie, The August Story, and caught a lot of attention from audiences all across Asia. His role in the Taiwanese TV drama Miss No Good also made him the role model for Japan's actors, someone who made it big outside Japan. Now, he is a culture icon for Dean's People who were influenced by his passion. Everyday is an ongoing learning process for Fujioka. He is fluent in English, Japanese, and Chinese, and when he is away from the spotlight, he loves photography, writing poetry, and making music. He wants to represent his work, thoughts, and passion to the world through films and music.
Currently, Dean Fujioka is traveling across Asia for the making of his first album, working on various film assignments in between.
