Gary Blackney (born December 12, 1944) is the current secondary coach of the University of Central Florida football program. He previously served as the former head coach of the Bowling Green college football program from 1991-2000. He also served as an assistant coach with the Ohio State, Syracuse, UCLA, Wisconsin, Rhode Island, and Brown football programs. Previously he served as defensive coordinator of the University of Maryland, College Park football team from 2001 - 2005.
