Mason Neely Born April 20, 1979 Origin USA Occupations Record Producer, Drummer, Arranger, Composer, Sound Engineer Instruments Drums, Guitar, Keyboards, Bass, Pedal Steel, Lap Steel, Banjo, Vibraphone Years active 1997—present Mason Neely (born April 20, 1979) is an American-born record producer, drummer, orchestral arranger and multi-instrumentalist who has produced and arranged for and toured with artists including; Lambchop, Cerys Matthews, Damien Jurado, Diane Birch, Rosie Thomas, David Bazan, Leigh Nash, Martyn Joseph, Hayley Westenra, The Quiet Ones, The Gregory Brothers, Dawn Kinnard, The Crook Family, Derek Webb, former Catatonia guitarist Owen Powell, Alun Tan Lan, Isaac Wardell, and Thad Cockrell.
He is a member of scared music collective Bifrost Arts and has served as a sound engineer and musical director for the BBC, RTÉ and S4C networks.
Beginning in 2008, Neely entered the world of film and TV scoring, contributing music for advertisements for Best Buy, Cisco Systems, Domino's Pizza and Crispin, Porter and Bogusky. He has also scored the award winning 2007 feature Low and Behold.
On July 22 and 31, 2009, respectively, he appeared with Diane Birch on The Late Show With David Letterman and Live With Jimmy Kimmel.
