86th Street is a station on the IND Eighth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway, lcoated at Central Park West and 86th Street. Both platforms are on the west side, northbound above southbound, and both express tracks are to the east in the same configuration.
The station is accessible from 86th Street, where there is an attended booth, and also from 88th Street by MetroCard only.
The exit at 88th Street once has a blue diamond NYCS|B, which was never used for service, but has since been taped over with the correct routes.
