Edinburgh Park is a
business park located inSouth Gyle ,Edinburgh ,Scotland . It is located to the west of the city, nearEdinburgh Airport and theEdinburgh City Bypass . The layout of the park was masterplanned by American architectRichard Meier , and it opened in 1995.Edinburgh Park railway station , which is located on theGlasgow to Edinburgh via Falkirk Line , opened in December 2003, and it is planned that theEdinburgh Tram Network will pass through the park.It is not to be confused with Gyle Park nearby, site of the former
Gogarloch .The park has a pub cum fitness centre, and also a number of sculptures, including the busts of famous Scottish poets, many of them ironically socialists.
