Lakeside is a city in Miller County, Missouri, United States. The population was 37 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Lakeside is located at coor dms|38|12|6|N|92|37|16|W|city (38.201533, -92.621012)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.7 km²), of which, 0.3 square miles (0.9 km²) of it is land and 0.3 square miles (0.8 km²) of it (46.97%) is water.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 37 people, 14 households, and 13 families residing in the city. The population density was 106.0 people per square mile (40.8/km²). There were 15 housing units at an average density of 43.0/sq mi (16.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White.

There were 14 households out of which 42.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 92.9% were married couples living together, and 7.1% were non-families. 7.1% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.64 and the average family size was 2.77.

In the city the population was spread out with 21.6% under the age of 18, 2.7% from 18 to 24, 40.5% from 25 to 44, and 35.1% from 45 to 64. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females there were 146.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 107.1 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $69,375, and the median income for a family was $72,500. Males had a median income of $63,750 versus $20,625 for females. The per capita income for the city was $32,786. None of the population and none of the families were below the poverty line.
