In enzymology, an orsellinate-depside hydrolase (EC 3.1.1.40) is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction

orsellinate depside + H₂O $\rightleftharpoons$ 2 orsellinate

Thus, the two substrates of this enzyme are orsellinate depside and H₂O, whereas its product is orsellinate.

This enzyme belongs to the family of hydrolases, specifically those acting on carboxylic ester bonds. The systematic name of this enzyme class is orsellinate-depside hydrolase. This enzyme is also called lecanorate hydrolase.
