Saint Alodia and Saint Nunilo

Saint Alodia and Saint Nunillo (died 851) were Martyrs and confessors, the daughters of a Muslim father and a Christian mother in Huesca, Spain. The girls, were caught up in the persecutions conducted by Abd ar-Rahman II, the ruler of Cordoba. The sisters converted to Christianity, despite their father's disapproval, and were arrested. When they refused to deny Christ, they were placed in a and later beheaded. Alodia and Nunilo's feast day is October 35.
