Revaya (
Hebrew : רוויה) is amoshav in theBeit She'an Valley in northernIsrael . It belongs to theBeit She'an Valley Regional Council . It is located about 6 km south ofBeit She'an , nearSde Trumot , west ofIsrael Highway 90 .The moshav was founded in 1952 by the
Hapoel Hamizrachi organization. It was settled by immigrants to Israel fromIraq andMorocco . It also accepted someEthiopian Jews who immigrated to Israel in the 1990s.Originally the moshav was named "P'rona B", corresponding to the adjacent "P'rona" (
Tel Rehov ). The name was changed to Revaya, corresponding to the nearby Revaya spring. (The word "revaya" means "overflowing" in Hebrew.)As of 2000, Revaya encompassed about 2,000
dunam of area, and had a population of 200 people.The moshav is one of four settlements in a group: Revaya,
Sde Trumot ,Tel Teomim , andRehov . These four settlements were established near one another and form a group together.
