John O'Neill (born 1 January 1974 in Glasgow) is a Scottish football midfielder currently playing for Stirling Albion. O'Neill's previous clubs include Celtic.
In his career he has had two spells of playing for Dumfries club Queen of the South. At Queens O'Neill won the 2001-02 Scottish Second Division and was the club's top scorer that season as he won the divisional player of the year title. O'Neill also scored in the 2002-03 Scottish Challenge Cup final 2-0 victory over Brechin City. ["The Queens" by Iain McCartney on Creedon Publications, 2004] O'Neill also made a substitute appearance for Queens in 2007-08 Scottish Cup final against Rangers, which turned out to be his last appearance.
