CKXC-FM

CKXC is a Canadian radio station at 93.5 FM in Kingston, Ontario. The station broadcast a country music format and branded as Kix 93.5. The station is owned by K-Rock 105.7 Inc. [ [http://www.crtc.gc.ca/archive/ENG/Hearings/2007/n2007-6.htm#5 Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2007-6 ] ] . K-Rock 105.7 Inc. already ownes CIKR-FM in Kingston.

[ [http://www.crtc.gc.ca/archive/ENG/Decisions/2007/db2007-334.htm Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2007-334 ] ] However, the 93.5 FM frequency is an adjacent frequency to a nearby radio station WCIZ in Watertown, New York just right across the St. Lawrence River broadcasting at 93.3 FM. The 93.5 MHz frequency was formerly used by WCIZ up until the late 1990's.In January 2008, the station offically launched as a full service FM Country station as "Kix 93.5".
