Dj SchizophreNik

SchizophreNik (skitso-phrenik) (born July 29, 1986, in Karlovo, Bulgaria) is a top Dj and Producer of Dance/Rap/R&B/House Music. Schizo has hit the top 10 Dance Charts with his productions and mixes all over the world. His music has been played on radio stations across Europe, Asia, Australia, and America. SchizophreNik has signed two record deals with house label Oh!Records in Canada, and dance label iMusic in the UK, and is also currently working with A&R Select in Hollywood. Dj SchizophreNik is the co-founder and partner of the Skyline Culture, consisting of the Skyline Clothing brand, Sky Music, and Skyline Modeling. SchizophreNik is also the founder and owner of the popular music website: MusicHeatXL.com "[1]" reaching millions of music fans around the world.

Personal life

Nikolay Poptchev aka Dj SchizophreNik, was born in the Eastern European country "Bulgaria". As a teen he left his homeland with his family to come to the United States and start a new life. In 2001, Nikolay and his family moved to Chicago, IL where he graduated High School and obtained business education in a local community college. In his early college months he began learning professional recording music equipment and composed a few tracks as practice. After a couple of hard working months he released his first underground album titled "The Beginning". The album received great comments and ratings. Nik was determined and motivated to release new productions after his first accomplishment and produced the trance production titled "Naked Heart". "Naked Heart" was an instant hit on the web dance charts and became a Top 10 hit on the Dance charts in America. Nik needed a new alias to fit his unique music style and image. Under the name of SchizophreNik, Nik became the top new dance producer in the country with his productions being played in many radio stations and dance clubs across the world. Australia, United Kingdom, Poland, Italy, Bulgaria, Japan, Greece, Romania, and Russia to name a few. As of the year of 2007, SchizophreNik has signed record deals in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Hollywood, released a clothing line, and launched the music website "MusicHeatXL.com"[2] to further and expand his career in the entertainment industry.
