- Dewanoumi stable
-
Dewanoumi stable (出羽海部屋 Dewa-Umi Beya ) is a stable of sumo wrestlers. It has a long, prestigious history. Its current head coach is former sekiwake Washuyama. As of November 2007 it had 21 wrestlers.
The demotion of Futeno to the makushita division in July 2010 left the stable without any sekitori for the first time since 1898.[1]
