Current Issues in Intestinal Microbiology (CIIM, Curr. Iss. Intest. Microbiol.) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes high quality review papers on all aspects of intestinal microbiology and probiotics. Top quality original research papers and short communications are also considered for publication. The journal is published by Horizon Scientific Press, from Norfolk, UK.
Full content of all articles are freely available online. A print edition of the journal is also available. One volume per year.
History
Current Issues in Intestinal Microbiology was established in 2000. In January 2008 this journal was incorporated into Current Issues in Molecular Biology. The new combined editorial board strengthened the publication and created a stronger and more broadly based publication.
