The Ellon Times is a local, weekly newspaper based in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. It is a sister paper of the Buchan Observer and Fraserburgh Herald.The Ellon Times is edited by Ken Short. The reporters are Ross Anderson, Rebecca Buchan and Karen Roberts. The paper was recently cited in the Press Gazette as being the 26th fastest growing weekly newspaper in the United Kingdomfact|date=December 2007 (there are approximately 450 weeklies in the UK).
