Tremendosaur

Tremendosaur is a Los Angeles based sketch comedy troupe founded in 2006 by Dave Crabtree, Justin Michael, and Jacob Reed. Tremendosaur has created numerous comedic films, shorts, and parody videos. The group operates a web site under the same name that showcases their collaborations. The site also includes a blog from all three members as well as a podcast.

Tremendosaur's short films have been featured on the front pages of YouTube, Crackle, Current TV and others. They have also been screened at The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in New York.

Members

The three core members of Tremendosaur (Dave Crabtree, Justin Michael, Jacob Reed) all attended the University of Southern California where the three met as cast members of Second Nature Improv.
* Dave Crabtree attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts and graduated with a degree in film production. Shortly after graduating, Crabtree relocated to Thailand in order to film the documentary [http://www.porampo.com Porampo, Pirates of the Malacca Straits] . In addition to his role as director for Tremendosaur, Crabtree is an editor for FOX Reality.
* Justin Michael majored in film and theatre at the University of Southern California (USC). His work has been screened at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York, The Anthology Film Archives and Channel 102. His animated short "Testipals!" was picked up by cable channel Fuse TV.
* Jacob Reed earned a degree in film and fine arts from USC. Reed performs improvisational comedy in Los Angeles, appearing at Improv Olympic, and Ultimate Improv. Outside of Tremendosaur, Reed is a freelance graphic designer and artist. He has done graphic design work for CBS and his art pieces have been featured in the Torrance Art Museum and Corriere della Sera.

Notable productions

Their shorter sketches include "Video Will", "Inches Away From Ordinary", "Five Second Rule", and a parody of "The Number 23" called "The Number 24". The Number 24 has enjoyed more internet fame than any of the group's other shorts, having been featured under the YouTube comedy category in 10 different countries. Television Work

In 2007, Tremendosaur was hired by Current TV to as commentators on the cable network's "Current Lowdown" series. Shortly after, Tremendosaur was hired to produce a short entitled "Halloweenies" as part of the network's "Current Rant" series. In December, they produced another holiday-themed short entitled "Holiday Shmoliday."
