Baseball

Sacred Heart has a baseball field that is very nice considering the size of the town. The local high school team plays their home games there, as well as a "town ball" team, which has existed sporadically since the 1990's. "Town Ball" is a term commonly used in Minnesota to refer to amateur league baseball teams that do not have age/grade requirements. Recently, Minnesota town teams have gone back to using wooden bats, which has resulted in a sharp decrease in the number of injuries resulting from batted balls hitting fielders in the face.
