The Organization of Canadian Symphony Musicians (OCSM) is a bilingual conference of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) of the United States and Canada. OCSM represents Canada's professional symphony musicians of which there are twenty member orchestras with approximately one thousand musicians working under collective agreements. Together with other players' conferences (International Conference of Symphony and Opera Musicians ICSOM, ROPA, RMA, and TMA), we work with the AFM to improve conditions across the continent.

Current officers of OCSM are:

  • Matthew Heller, President (Calgary Philharmonic)
  • David Brown, First Vice-President (Vancouver Symphony)
  • Robert McCosh, Second Vice-President (Calgary Philharmonic)
  • Robert Fraser, Secretary (Victoria Symphony Orchestra)
  • Greg Sheldon, Treasurer (Windsor Symphony)
