Mascot Cardinals Website Chippewa Falls High School Chippewa Falls High School is a public high school located in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. It is also referred to as "Chi-Hi". Chi-Hi has been among the top in the state when it comes to academics. The school is also known for its athletics and marching band. The school belongs to the Big Rivers Conference of the WIAA. The school mascot is the Cardinal.

Clubs
Chippewa Falls High School has a considerable amount of clubs that are offered for students. The school has Athena and Apollo clubs for students that are on the honor roll and many other academic clubs. During the lunch and learn period all freshmen are required to attend one club for half of the period. Clubs that freshmen are able to attend range from open computer lab to volleyball. There are also clubs as diverse as Ruffled Feathers and the Will Farrell club. Foreign language clubs such as Spanish Club and French Club are ever growing components of the high school as is Thespians Troupe 144. Some clubs that are popular among students are dodge ball and 3-on-3 basketball.
Music
Music at Chi-Hi is considered among most in the community to be a cornerstone of the school. Every four years the music department plans a trip to a major city in the US to go to and perform.

- Chad Cascadden - Former National Football League linebacker for the New York Jets and New England Patriots from 1995-1999. He also played for the Wisconsin Badgers and was a member of the 1994 Rose Bowl Championship team.
- Seymour Cray - U.S. electrical engineer and supercomputer architect who founded the company Cray Research.
- Nate DeLong - Former National Basketball Association center for the Milwaukee Hawks.
- Charles "Gus" Dorais - Former quarterback and kicker for the University of Notre Dame. A consensus All-America pick at in 1913, the first-ever at Notre Dame. Coached from 1914 until 1942, and was inducted into College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1954. Was head coach of the Detroit Lions from 1943-1947.
- Joe Vavra - Former player in Los Angeles Dodgers organization and current hitting coach for the Minnesota Twins.
