He briefly took over the role of "'Fiyero'" beginning onDecember 12 ,2006 . He appeard inTaste of Chicago to sing "Dancing Through Life" and "As Long As You're Mine" with co-starDee Roscioli . After re-joining the Ensemble on January 19th, Derrek Williams reprised the role. Bass relocated to New York City and joined the Ensemble in the Broadway production in early 2007, joining Julia Murney and Kendra Kassebaum.Bass graduated from Dan River Senior High in Ringgold, Virginia in the class of 1998 and attended the
American Musical and Dramatic Academy from 1998 to 2000 in New York.Theatre
