Motorino is a brand of electric bicycle – type electric scooter and electric motorcycles. The name comes from the Italian word Motorini, which is a descriptive name for the widely used gasoline scooters in Italy.
In Canada and the USA the Motor Vehicle Act qualifies two to three wheel vehicles that go no faster than 32 km/h, have a motor of maximum 500 W for Canada or 750 W for USA and are equipped with pedals as bicycles. No driver’s license and insurance is required for operating them. In some provinces of Canada and some states of USA a minimum age of 16 is required to be used. A regular driver’s license is required for all Motorino electric motorcycles over 500 W for Canada and 750 W for USA.
The Motorini electric bicycles – type electric scooters are designed by Greenwit Technologies Inc. They have 500 W for Canada and 750 W for USA brushless CPU controlled motors, and regenerative brakes.
