Range

The butterfly occurs in India in the Northeast, namely, in Meghalaya (Khasi hills), Manipur and Mizoram (Lushai hills) ontoMyanmar (Maymyo, Karen hills and Tavoy). It is also found in Indo-China in the countries of Thailand, South Vietnam and Laos, and, in the Malay peninsula as well as in Sumatra and Borneo.Evans,W.H.(1932) The Identification of Indian Butterflies, ser no I 6.2, pp 322.]

The type locality is Sarawak.
