Owen Biddle (b. October 1, 1977) is an American bass guitarist, record producer, and songwriter from Philadelphia, who has been touring with Grammy-award-winning hip hop group The Roots since the August 31, 2007 departure of 17-year-veteran bassist, "Hub".[1] On August 25, 2011, he announced he was leaving The Roots to focus on his band, Mister Barrington.

Prior to joining the lineup, Biddle was credited with production and writing on the Roots' Grammy-nominated album, Game Theory.[2] Other work includes recordings with Al Green, Beanie Sigel, Baaba Maal, Vivian Green, Jazmine Sullivan, Taylor Dayne, Jazzyfatnastees, and Corinne Bailey-Rae.[3]

He is also a member of The Trolleyvox and was a bassist, composer and member of the Philadelphia based rock band Pepper's Ghost.[4] Biddle is also currently a member of New York City based Mister Barrington, along with Oli Rockberger and Zach Danziger.

As part of a recurring sketch on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon called "The Real Housewives of Late Night", Biddle portrays his fictional wife, named Renee, who is an alcoholic.[5][6]
