Carambie Cave is a large relatively dry, white limestone
cave in Trelawny Parish on the North Coast ofJamaica . The cave has a number of entrances.Natural History
The cave is home to a number of
fruit bats as well a few other species ofbat . There are some species of invertebrates, mostly living on the limited batguano deposits. These include some fly, mainlyNeoditomyia farri , and somespiders .It is believed that the cave may have been used by
