The world erodes around Vijay (
Amitabh Bachchan ), an honestpolice officer . He is jailed for 6 months on false charges, trapped bygang leader Teja (Ajit). When Vijay is released from jail, he plans to take revenge.Later Vijay also finds out that the person who murdered his parents, 20 years back, is Teja, by the Zanjeer that Teja wears on his right wrist.
