After Edmund is a Christian rock band from LaGrange, Georgia. The band was first formed in 2001 as "Taken" while the members were students at LaGrange College [http://www.slantedrecords.com/afteredmund.aspx SlantedRecords.com - After Edmund Page] ] The band's name is a reference to the character Edmund Pevensie in the C. Band history

After Edmund first originated in 2001 as the band "Taken". They released five independent albums before changing their name to "After Edmund". In November 2006 they signed onto Slanted Records, and they began recording for their first studio album, "Hello" until February 2007.Fact|date=April 2008 The album was then released on February 26, 2008, nearly a year later.
