Idris Shah I of Perak

Idris Shah I of Perak (19 June 1849-14 January 1916) was the 19th Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Perak. He succeeded his father-in-law, Sultan Abdullah Muhammad Shah, in 1887 and ruled to his death on 14 January 1916. In 1895, he entered the state of Perak into the Federated Malay States. He was succeeded by his eldest son, Sultan Abdul Jalil of Perak.

Full name

His full name was "His Highness Maulana Paduka Sri Tuanku Sultan Sir Idris Murshid al-Azam Shah Ramatu'llah ibni al-Marhum Raja Bendahara Alang Iskander, Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of the State of Perak, GCMG, GCVO".
