With several awards from the [Association of Alternative News Weeklies],[1] and the Society of Professional Journalists, many have recognized the paper's record of editorial excellence. Rick Scott and the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation (a local multi-agency vice unit). In 2007, the MBI staged a raid that arrested three advertising agents for "supporting prostitution:" the paper considers this act retaliation for past negative coverage of the agency [4].
On Feb. 27, 2008, the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation dropped all charges in the criminal case. Agreement with MBI
