Due to its low power, the station uses a 74 foot Valcom V-33070 fiberglass whip antenna rather than a conventional AM radio tower.According to FCC ownership records, both stations are owned by Shippensburg Broadcasting & WIOO Inc. of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. [1] . Cary Simpson the station's previous owner was able to convince Valcom the maker of fiberglass whip antennas to place a prototype antenna on his antenna site. The station currently uses a 74-foot Valcom V-33070 fiberglass whip antenna rather than a conventional AM radio tower because of Simpson's desire.
