Rafa de Villa (born Rafael de Villa Magallón on August 27, 1977) is a mexican filmmaker also known as cinematographer, film editor and screenwriter. Most of his work has been credited as Rafa de Villa or Rafa de Villa Magallón, but since 2004 he adopted the artistic name of RAFA devillamagallón. (He has also been credited as Devil "La Maga" Jones)

He was born in the big Tenochtitlan and studies his career in the Universitary Centre of Cinematographic Studies of the UNAM beetwen the years of 1996 and 2002, specializing in film editing and directing.

In 2003, he is invited to collaborate with the Mountain Human Rights Centre “Tlachinollan” in Tlapa de Comonfort, Guerrero, where he makes more than 15 video documentaries approaching themes like Human Rights, Women Rights, Normative Sistems at Indigenous Comunities, Land Conflicts and Health.

He is the author of 5 fiction short films being his most notorious one Ita Yuyu (Dewflower), winner of two Pantalla de Cristal awards in 2003; including Best Fiction Short Film.
